INTRODUCTION
We begin in the city of Ko-ro-ba. Tarl Carbot Tarl Cabot, an Earthman who is transported to the planet of Gor, also known as Counter-Earth, by the mysterious Priest-Kings. There, he is trained as a tarnsman, a warrior who rides a giant bird called a tarn. Ko-ro-ba has recently been destroyed by Ar. He is given a mission to steal the home stone, the symbol of the city of Ar, from its tyrannical ruler, Marlenus. Along the way, he encounters various cultures, dangers, and challenges, as well as a beautiful woman named Talena, who becomes his slave. The book introduces the world of Gor, its history, geography, politics, and social structure, which are influenced by ancient civilizations such as Rome and Greece. The book also explores themes such as honor, loyalty, courage, and slavery. All people are there to help determine and reestablish the city. Each of them have a reason for being there. See each characters write up. Some of you will be in disguise, others back in Glorious Ar. This can be switched around each time its role played. You will be given a note card with your description. Who is murdered will be decided then.

c. Tarl Cabot arrives on Gor and meets his father, Matthew, who tells the story of Gor to him. Older Tarl comes in to teach Tarl the tarn, explains its dangers and how to ride one. Torm the scribe enters and explains Gor society, religion and knowledge. Pa-Kar is secretly listening to them posing as a merchant. Matthew gives Tarl the task of stealing the Home Stone of Ar.

THE CHARACTER - TARL CABOT
Backstory: Lord Tarl Cabot the hero of Gor, a man who was brought from Earth by the Priest-Kings, and who became a tarnsman, learning from his father Matthew and Old Tarl the Captain of the tarnsmen of Ko-ro-ba. You are a proud and honorable man who takes responsibilities seriously. He is known for his bravery in battle and his loyalty to his friends. You You are in love with Talena, the daughter of Marlenus, and you are her companion. You have a note from the Ubara, that says that she loves you, and that she trusts you, and that you should meet her in her chamber. You also have a dagger, that matches the one that kill that was used in the murder, and that has your initials on it.
Motive: Will be given at the time of the murder.
Secret: Tarl kidnapped Talena Ubara of Ar and daughter of Marlenus. The only problem is you have lost when you fell from your tarn and are in the process of finding it without anyone knowing.
Costume: Lord Tarl wears the red tunic of a transman carries a sword and a tarn goad.
